About us: Ivorian Solidarity UK Our team is based in Leeds. From here we all focus our efforts to make sure we deliver the best outcomes we can for children of parents with chronic illnesses or disabilities.
Objectives: Chronic illness and disability in a parent can overwhelm a family. Children often become caregivers, limiting their opportunities for education, play, and social connection. They also endure constant anxiety about their parent's health and future. We are dedicated to alleviating these burdens and fostering a supportive environment where children can flourish.
Purposes: Our purpose is to improve the emotional and mental well-being of children experiencing family stress by providing support for their social engagement, personal development, and reduced household burdens, enabling them to develop resilience and flourish.
Our Vision: To create a thriving, dynamic charitable sector where the public has unwavering confidence, achieved through the Commission's effective and transparent regulatory oversight, working collaboratively with key stakeholders
